Our St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores

The St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store of Ocean Springs, MS recycles your gently used donated items for repurpose in the community. Our profits go toward supporting the poor and those people who are homeless, in-need of food and clothing. 





 

 Our SVDP Thrift Stores Serve 5 Primary Purposes

1.) To provide a one-stop shop for all genders, ages, and nationalities of reasonably priced, recycled or new clothing and other goods.

2.) Working with other Conferences and nonprofits we provide the poor and those individuals and families who are truely in need with support and a source for low-cost clothing and other necessary goods at little, or at no cost to them.

3.) To benefit the homeless and poor in our communities by generating funds to open additional thrift stores who's revenues will someday contribute to the development of a Family Homeless Shelter along our Gulf Coast. 

4.) To benefit our community by providing job training, employment, and volunteer opportunities for seniors, handi-capped, disabled, as well as our veterans and military, and those who have been caught up in the slave trade, having been trafficked, as well as jobless individuals who are in-need of employment. 

5.) Through donations and grants we invest in, help to develop, and help to support the operations of  other organizations that provide focus on social/human services directly within our communities.  
 

We need your help. With your support and generous Donations our St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store will be able to provide household goods, clothing, furniture and other recycled and new necessities to a broad range of people. These efforts go hand-in-hand of our short-term efforts of helping those in-need by paying rents and utilities to house tose in-need of shelter, clothing those who are naked, feeding the hungry, visiting the sick, the disabled, the elderly, and the poor, while helping to tend to the needs of the homeless, those having been trafficked, and our working poor.

Our existing SVDP Thrift Stores in Ocean Springs, MS is an upscale bargain hunters dream.  We are not your typical thrift store. You will be able to find nearly anything and everything in our store at economical prices:

• Clothing for the whole family – and even your pets.
• Coats, boots, purses, and shoes.
• Socks and some select undergarments.
• Used and re-upholstered furniture – and even antiques.
• Dishes, utensils, knick-knacks, glassware, silverware, and even collectables.
• Books, magazines, music, CD’s & cassettes and some great classic vinyl albums.
• Small electronic appliances, toys, holiday items, and a variety of collectibles.
• New mattresses, box springs, frames, and linens.
• Craft supplies.
• Watches and Jewelry.
